LMS integration

AI role play inside Moodle with LTI 1.3

Teachrity connects to Moodle through LTI 1.3 and has been tested with Moodle. A teacher adds a Teachrity simulation to a course as an external tool, students launch it from the course page with their Moodle login, and scores come back to the course.

How it appears in Moodle

The simulation is added as an external tool activity on the course page. Students click it like any other activity, with no second login and no separate account to remember.

Setup in outline

A Moodle administrator registers Teachrity as an LTI 1.3 tool using the tool URL, public keyset and login URL, then makes it available to courses. Teachrity's team supports the first configuration.

What teachers see

Teachers set which simulation a course uses and see attempts and scores. Moderated scores can be passed back to the course so marks live in one place.

Why it suits Moodle institutions

Many Indian universities run Moodle without an AI practice component. Adding it as a tool means no change to the LMS itself.

What to confirm before rollout

Check the Moodle version, whether the site allows external tools in courses, and who owns tool registration. A one-course pilot lets you test launch, scores and student experience before opening it to the programme.
