LMS integration

AI practice labs inside D2L Brightspace with LTI 1.3

Brightspace supports LTI 1.3 external learning tools. Teachrity plugs in as a practice layer beside whatever content a university already licenses, such as LinkedIn Learning, Coursera or Harvard material, so it adds practice and does not replace the library.

A layer, not a replacement

Universities that run Brightspace usually licence content libraries and hold weekend live classes. Teachrity adds the part those do not: a scored spoken practice step after each topic.

Where it appears

A simulation is added as an external learning tool inside a content module, so students reach it from the same course shell as the lectures.

Setup in outline

The Brightspace administrator registers Teachrity as an LTI 1.3 tool and deploys it to the relevant org units. Details differ by version and are confirmed at setup.

Online programmes

Practice labs, placement interviews and first-day job tasks can all be launched from the course, giving online students the practical component employers look for.

Placing practice after content

A typical flow is a content-library video, a reading, and then a Teachrity simulation as the practice step. Students see one course path rather than several systems.
