How Teachrity works: learn, speak, get feedback, repeat

Every Teachrity session follows four stages: a context brief, a spoken multi-turn dialogue with an AI counterpart, Audio Mirror analysis of how the learner sounded, and a targeted re-drill. A six-criterion rubric scores the attempt, and faculty or managers see cohort dashboards.

1. Context brief

The learner reads the situation, the role, the constraints and what the other person wants. Briefs come from a scenario library mapped to discipline syllabi or from a scenario your team authors in the Course Builder.

2. Spoken AI dialogue

The learner speaks out loud. The AI counterpart pushes back, interrupts, hides information or changes its mind, so the learner has to listen and adapt instead of reciting a script.

3. Audio Mirror analysis

Teachrity replays the attempt with pacing, filler-word counts and clarity markers, so the learner hears their own habits before anyone else does.

4. Targeted re-drill

The learner retries immediately with one behaviour to change. The rubric shows what moved between attempt one and attempt two.

Frequently asked questions

What are the five parts of the platform?+

Learning modules, voice simulation, Audio Mirror feedback, rubric-based assessment, and cohort dashboards, delivered as one system rather than separate tools.

Can faculty change the rubric and weights?+

Yes. The six criteria are a starting point. Programme owners adapt wording and weights to their own outcomes, and human reviewers can override a provisional score.

How long is a session?+

Practice sessions are short, typically a 15 to 20 minute dialogue, so learners can fit them around classes or shifts.

Teachrity supports practice and evidence. Consequential decisions, such as grades, certification or hiring, stay with accountable people at the institution or employer.
