Sandler-style selling: up-front contracts, pain and budget conversations
Sandler-style selling agrees the rules of the meeting up front, uncovers pain before presenting, and raises budget early. It asks reps to stay neutral and not chase. Teachrity lets reps practise those moves with an AI prospect who tests whether they hold the structure.
The up-front contract
The rep opens by agreeing purpose, time and outcomes, including that a no is acceptable. This lowers pressure and gives both sides a clear structure.
Pain before presentation
The rep keeps asking about the prospect's difficulty and its impact until the prospect states it, and does not present early.
Budget and decision
The rep raises money and the decision process while the buyer is still engaged, and not at the end.
Practice
The AI prospect pressures the rep to present early. Scoring tracks whether the rep kept the structure.
Staying neutral
A rep who needs the sale sounds needy. The style trains calm neutrality, which usually earns more honest answers.
