Accreditation evidence
NAAC Criterion 2 evidence: oral assessment and student performance records
NAAC's Teaching-Learning and Evaluation criterion asks how institutions assess and improve learning. Teachrity's recorded, rubric-scored sessions give IQAC teams dated evidence of student performance and progress. It supports evidence preparation for NAAC and does not confer or predict a grade.
What IQAC teams need
Reviewers look for evidence that evaluation is continuous, transparent and acted upon, and that students are active participants in learning. Attendance sheets and final marks do not show any of this.
What Teachrity records
Each attempt is recorded and scored on the programme's criteria. Over a semester this gives a trail of attempts, scores and improvement for each student and each cohort.
Experiential and participative learning
Role-play practice is a direct example of experiential learning in a non-STEM course. The record shows how often students practised and where they improved.
Using it responsibly
Present the data with the rubric, the moderation record and the cohort it covers. Evidence should describe what students did and what the institution did in response.
Presenting it to reviewers
Show one cohort end to end: the rubric, the assignment, a sample of anonymised attempts, the moderation record and the change made afterwards. A single clear example persuades more than a large unexplained data set.
Sample exchange

IQAC coordinatorWhich course shall we present for Criterion 2?
FacultyThe client counselling course. We ran four graded attempts.
IQAC coordinatorDo we have the score change?
FacultyYes, from attempt one to four, by criterion, with my moderation notes.
