Operations and supply chain

Supply chain and logistics practice lab: negotiation, disruption and distributor conflict

Supply chain careers are built on conversations with suppliers, carriers, warehouses and distributors. Teachrity's lab lets MBA and logistics students practise supplier negotiation, disruption calls and a distributor conflict case in which traditional distributors react to quick commerce, scored on defined criteria.

Supplier and carrier negotiation

Students negotiate lead time, price and penalties with an AI supplier who has their own constraints, practising conditional trade-offs rather than splitting the difference.

Disruption calls

A shipment is delayed and a customer is waiting. Students practise explaining the cause, offering options and committing to a recovery time.

Distributor conflict

A traditional distributor feels squeezed by quick commerce. The student has to protect the relationship while changing the terms.

Placement readiness

Supply chain and operations interview practice sits beside the lab, following a pasted job description.

Linking the lab to cases

The distributor conflict scenario pairs well with a classroom case on channel conflict. Students read the case, then practise the conversation, then discuss what they said and why.

Sample exchange

A distributor reacts to quick commerce

AI distributorQuick commerce is taking my best outlets. Why should I keep stocking your brand?

StudentWhich outlets have you lost and which are you keeping?

AI distributorLarge stores gone. Small kirana still mine.

StudentThen let us focus the scheme on kirana volume and give you service levels that dark stores cannot match.
