Restaurant service SOP simulation: order taking, guest personas and brand standards

Restaurant Excellence is Teachrity's order-taking simulation for hospitality students and restaurant teams. Learners serve AI guests with different personas, face injected situations such as a delay or an allergy, and are evaluated against an SOP engine that covers 22 brand standards.

Guest personas

A hurried business diner, a family with children and a first-time visitor each expect something different. Learners adapt greeting, pace and recommendations.

Injected situations

The simulation adds a wrong order, a delay, a dietary requirement or a complaint mid-service, so learners practise recovery, not only the smooth path.

SOP evaluation

An SOP engine evaluates the conversation against a brand's service standards, so scores reflect the house rules.

Curriculum fit

The lab is mapped to the NCHMCT BHM curriculum and the IHM syllabus, so it supports food and beverage service teaching.

From scores to coaching

Managers see which SOP items are missed most often, such as allergy checks or greeting standards, and plan the next briefing around them.
