Microteaching simulation for B.Ed, ITEP and PGCE trainees

Teachrity gives B.Ed, M.Ed, ITEP and PGCE trainees unlimited spoken microteaching rehearsals with AI student personas. Trainees practise lesson openings, Socratic questioning and misconception repair across 30 subjects before entering partner schools, and faculty review samples instead of watching 700 sessions.

The observation bottleneck

A cohort of 100 student teachers practising seven microteaching skills produces more than 700 sessions, far beyond what faculty can watch. Trainees pass written pedagogy papers and then freeze in their first live class.

Lesson opening and concept framing

Trainees spend three to five minutes opening a lesson: a hook, prior knowledge, a clear learning objective and the right subject vocabulary. Catalogue coverage spans 327 scenarios across 30 subjects and 93 curriculum topics.

Questioning, probing and misconceptions

AI students hold believable errors, such as a science or maths misconception. The trainee is scored on diagnosing why the student thinks it, using scaffolded questions rather than repeating the textbook.

Standards and evidence

Scenarios are mapped to teacher standards such as NCTE NPST, InTASC, England's Teachers' Standards and UAE frameworks, and attempts form practicum readiness evidence for the institution to use.

Sample exchange

Fixing a misconception about evaporation

AI studentSir, water disappears when it boils because the heat destroys it.

TraineeInteresting. Where do you think the water goes?

AI studentIt just goes away. I saw the pot get empty.

TraineeLet us hold a cold plate over the steam. What do you notice on it?

AI studentLittle drops. So it turned into drops again?

What the rubric looks for

CriterionWhat good looks like
Hook and objectiveThe opening connects to prior knowledge and states what students will learn
Diagnostic questioningAsks why the student believes the idea before correcting it
Concept accuracySubject facts and vocabulary are correct
ResponsivenessAdjusts when the student pushes back

AI Teaching Simulation For B.Ed Colleges

A trainee teacher explains a topic, but a pupil gives an answer that reveals a common misconception.

ITEP Teaching Practice Simulation Platform

A trainee plans a short lesson and must respond when a pupil cannot connect the example to prior knowledge.

Microteaching Practice Software For B.Ed

A trainee teaches one concept in five minutes and receives a question they did not anticipate.

Teacher Readiness Assessment Software

A mentor reviews a trainee's lesson preparation and asks how they would respond if students do not understand.

Teacher Questioning Skills Simulation

A teacher asks a question and receives an incomplete answer from a learner who appears unsure.

AI Simulation Tools For Teacher Education

A programme head wants to know whether a tool can support rehearsal before supervised classroom practice.

Teacher Education Micro-Learning & Pedagogical Framework Videos

A student teacher watches an animated video demonstrating non-verbal proximity control and differentiated instruction, then manages an AI classroom simulation.

Frequently asked questions

Does microteaching simulation replace school practicum?+

No. It prepares trainees for the practicum and builds evidence of readiness. Supervised classroom experience remains required.

Which subjects are covered?+

Scenarios cover science, mathematics, humanities and pedagogy modules, and faculty can add their own subject scenarios in the Course Builder.

Can individual trainees use it without the college?+

Yes, individual plans start from Rs 1,699 for 10 sessions.
